Aurora Flight Sciences project partners are BAE Systems, C.S Draper Laboratory, and the Sierra Nevada Corporation. They were recently awarded a contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), under a program called “Vulture”. The goal of the Vulture program is to develop and demonstrate a radical new unmanned aircraft that can stay aloft for five years.
